In every sense of the word, it was perfect. The day was perfect. It was a beautiful Spring day, and clouds puffed across the blue sky. A slight breeze. And to make it even more wonderful, Marina was marrying David. Marina and her wedding entourage were gathered at her dear friend’s home… champagne was popped… smiles abounded… and the buzz of a wedding was in the air. Marina’s sisters laughed and joked with her about whose day it actually was… poking fun around every corner. Her mother choked back tears that seemed to come with every passing moment. Because for her, too, today was perfect.
Marina slipped into her gorgeous wedding gown with the most delicate and beautiful cap sleeve I have ever seen. Her dress was designed by Mori Lee, but she added the sleeve and belt. Her bridesmaids donned floor length lilac dresses from the Coralie Beatrix line.
Your Beauty Call was on hand to make sure that the girls looked gorgeous! Easy day at the office for them, if you ask me!!
Marina & David’s first date was at Starbucks. David doesn’t even like coffee. But he was on his game enough to know that she should have a special cup of joe delivered to Marina the morning of the wedding.
Marina may have been marrying David that day, but David definitely knows where he stands in the pecking order at their house. Moo, the adorable pup, is first in line to be snuggled by Marina.
David and his groomsmen were dressed to the nines with the help of Bowties Bridal, with the exception of Luke, David’s brother, who is in the US Navy and wore a dashingly handsome sailor suit.
Blossoms by Gayle created gorgeous blooms to add beautiful spring colors to the wedding!
The wedding took place at Rio Secco golf club, and the location of the ceremony was absolutely breath-taking! Add in an adorable “B” to the center of the aisle and you have an amazing place to say, I do!
Marina decided to have her bouquet wrapped with a beautiful necklace that belonged to her grandmother, and it added a perfectly sentimental touch to her wedding bouquet.
This was seriously the funnest wedding party. Evah!
I’m not sure that this smile ever left Marina’s face all day. She is so smitten by David, and every look she gave him was accompanied by this insanely adoring smile.
Just as the sun set, Marina and David shared their first dance as husband and wife… errrr… Batman and his bride. {{winks}}
Marina and David. There are seriously no words to describe how much I have enjoyed spending the last year with you. We fell in love with one another over the child’s brunch menu at Cheesecake Factory, and that love can never be taken away. I look forward to spending many, MANY more years with the two of you. As husband and wife. We’re officially “couple friends.” Love you mucho.
