Tara, from Scheme Events, and I roamed through Green Valley Ranch for several minutes trying to locate the elevator that would get us to Lisa’s suite. I was so thankful that she offered to escort me to the room because I never would have found it on my own. With her navigating me through the resort I was able to really take in the beauty of Green Valley Ranch where Lisa had planned to get ready for her wedding. But nothing could have prepared me for the amazing view of the beautiful bride that I was about to see. As Tara and I entered the room Memory Lane video was already onsite and had hung Lisa’s beautiful wedding gown in the window. It was the first thing we saw when we entered the room, and it definitely set the stage for the day. The bridesmaids and bride were, to my amazement, already done with hair and makeup and were enjoying each other’s company while we worked to photograph all of Lisa’s beautiful details.
Kerry sent over a love letter with a gold Kate Spade necklace that read, “mrs.” She loved the necklace of course, but she devoured every word of the letter that Kerry had written her.
Finally it was time for Lisa to get into her dress. She was beaming, and couldn’t think of anything else except for getting to the church to marry Kerry.
Kerry had stayed at their home the night before, but he wasn’t alone because Max was there to keep him company.
Lisa and Kerry chose to have a full Catholic mass wedding at St. Thomas More church where they attend church weekly.
As Kerry walked up the aisle with his new bride on his right, he made sure to give him mom’s hand a quick squeeze. I couldn’t help but think of how all-encompassing of a photo this is for Kerry with each of his hands occupied by the two most important women in his life.
We headed back to Green Valley Ranch to complete the wedding party photos, and even though it was record setting heat outside, which in Las Vegas means about 119 degrees, the entire bridal party really came together and made sure that Lisa and Kerry had some amazing wedding photos!
Lisa’s beautiful floral arrangement was made to look like her mother’s did on her wedding day, and was executed beautifully by Pam at The Palette.
The reception was held at TPC Summerlin which is a beautiful golf course venue. Dream Schemer, Tara, killed it with all of the reception details and Paper and Home provided a touch of custom work to the event.
Being that Lisa was a RebelGirl for UNLV in college it was only fitting to have a choreographed first dance. I love the images below because they show so much emotion and movement.
Congratulations to you guys! I have absolutely loved every last minute of the last year or so. You are both wonderful people, and your friends and family would all definitely attest to that as well. I can’t wait to see what kind of blessings life will offer your marriage!
xo.
