Well hello new calendar year!!  It’s very nice to meet you.  Let’s see what you have in store for us…

It is officially 2015, let’s get the bottles poppin’ for a new lineup of gorgeous weddings to document and people to meet!  Thank you to Paper and Home for creating these wonderful letter pressed bottle tags to accompany a small gift that I send out to my couples as they book!  I’m a little bit behind right now, but I blame that on the North Pole.  I’ll get back on track very soon!

First in our line up for 2015 is the uber fabulous, and frankly gorgeous Andrea & Brian.  Andrea and Brian live up in Canada, and will be having their wedding at Mandarin Oriental in February!  They have a stellar lineup of vendors, and I can honestly say that Andrea has become a friend during this planning process.  I am so so so excited to see them again, and to photograph their wedding!!

March is booked solid with a ton of lovely weddings to debut!!  First on the docket will be Emily & Jason who are locals here in Vegas!  The stunning couple made j. anne history in 2014 by bringing me along to photograph them on the private jet that Jason pilots!  They will be married downtown in a church ceremony followed by their reception at the Downtown Grande!

Aeri & Andy are going to come over to Vegas to get hitched in March, but they only have a short drive from Arizona.  They’ll be married at Canyon Gate Country Club, and I am beyond excited to meet them!! I have sufficiently cyber stalked them enough to know that they are a wildly handsome couple, and I’m positive that they can throw an amazing party!

Later in March, Janelle and I are going to hop down south to photograph one of my dearest childhood friends be married to an amazing man.  Sara & Graham will tie the knot in a charming city that I am sure I will never want to leave, and I’ll probably be forcing them to have a three hour portrait session… at minimum.

Erica & Joseph are going to kick off their nuptials in April over at Springs Preserve, and I could not be more excited!  The Springs is one of my favorite venues, and their wedding will surely be gorgeous!  I’ve also already been able to meet Erica and Joseph in person, even though they coming over from San Diego… check back soon as we’re planning their engagement photos right now!

May will be another busy month for us, and we’re going to start it off in a phenomenal way with Nicole & Alex at the Four Seasons!  Nicole and Alex are Vegas locals and are going to show the Four Seasons how to party.  We just rocked off their engagements the other day, and as soon as I get my butt out of this egg nog induced coma their engagements will grace the blog!!  But for now, a teaser…

Mid-May we’ll spend a phenomenal day traveling around Las Vegas to photograph Kate & Rob’s wedding, but not before Kate and Rob make a long trek to see us all the way from Australia!  We will have the ceremony and reception at Springs Preserve, but we are going to have the bridal party photographs done out at Spring Mountain Ranch… and Kate and Rob have arranged for some pretty amazing things to be happening out there!  I can not wait to share what will surely be an amazing photographing spree!!!

After only one day of rest, Janelle and I will take a little drive of our own out to the amazing property out at Red Rock Country Club where Robyn & Meir will tie the knot!  Robyn and Meir are going to travel in from the East Coast to get married in the City of Sin, but something tells me that there won’t be anything sinful about their gorgeous wedding!  They are coming into town later this month for their engagement session and I can not wait to squeeze their faces, and photograph them as well… maybe the face squeezing should happen post-photo shoot?

Lauren & Darrik will be the following weekend when I will photograph their intimate elopement out at Floyd Lamb Park.  They are going to come all the way to our desert from Colorado in order to document their commitment to one another, and we’ll be traveling around Las Vegas to document both our gorgeous deserts and our fun downtown area!  Lauren is seriously the sweetest, and they have such a gorgeous little girl together.  I can not wait to meet them, and to be allowed into their intimate ceremony.

Belinda & Dennis are going to round out May for us with their ceremony at the Four Seasons!  They are scheduled to be in from Virginia in just 9 days so that we can rock out their engagement session… which I am so excited for after Belinda just sent me some of her inspiration photos!  I have a feeling we are going to do something a little bit different… so keep checking back to the blog to see what we come up with!

To end off our Spring season we are going to photograph Joanne & Ross at the Springs Preserve the first part of June.  I have only been able to talk to Joanne on the phone, but they will be down to Vegas this Spring to rock out their engagement photos prior to the big day!!

*****Then… we rest.  We sun bathe.  We read.  We relax…. wait, whaaaaat…. ha ha ha… yeah right.  Our kids are out of school, so we make endless peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, sweep piles of crunched goldfish crackers, pray for mild temperatures, and just try to survive both our children and living in such close proximity to death valley…*****

We’ll hop out of our bathing suits and scrub the Mommy’s off of us in order to get ready for the fall season, but the fall is pretty open right now, so I’m hoping that won’t be the case as the year moves forward!!

Candace & Gaven have already solidified their date in November for us to photograph their wedding ceremony at Wynn followed by an encore at Encore!!  I was able to meet the astonishingly gorgeous Candace and her beautiful mother for lunch the other day, and I seriously can’t believe that I have to wait 11 months before I get to photograph their wedding ceremony!!  At least I know that I’ll have a few things to keep myself busy until then.

2015 is looking to be pretty epic on the business front… I can’t wait to share it with all of you!!  And if you know someone who just got engaged over Christmas or last night, send them my way!! I have a fall calendar to fill up!!
