I’m sitting here in my office… really trying to say something quippy about my love affair with West Elm. Or trying to think of a great story about how I may have come home with a couch or two one day and got into a mind-bender of an argument with Fraser over it… heaven knows I shop at West Elm way too stinking much, but surprisingly… nothing is coming to my mind. Obviously, I have repressed these memories, because I knooooow they have had to have happened.
While I can’t think of a great story to tell you, I can tell you about how much I adore West Elm. Enough so to infuse several of their items into my branding and for client gifts. This last year for the holidays my 2014 and 2015 couples received the Birds of a Feather brass salt & pepper shakers from West Elm, and I also send out West Elm champagne flutes to my couples when they book! So, to say that I love West Elm might be a bit of an understatement… and the fact that I live a block away doesn’t make matters much easier on my bank account… but what I also need to tell you is how much I adore Michael and Brooke over at Paper & Home! Paper & Home designed the business stationary that accompanies the West Elm gifts that I send, and Brooke & Michael couldn’t understand me and my brand any better!! If you haven’t had a chance to stop by their storefront over in the Southwest then do yourself a favor and gorge your eyes on their beautifully designed store and paper goods!
What could be better than mixing these two worlds together? Not much, I tell you.
Paper & Home and West Elm are joining up for a fantastic event called The Art of Wedding Planning! Couple who attend will hear from a panel of wedding panel experts and get to hob nob with a very select group of wedding vendors… all while throwing back some designer cocktails, and watching a fashion show. I am insanely happy to be invited to be amongst the select vendors, and would looooove to meet you there!
Here’s the lowlow on the happenings…
My only question is about this 10% discount noted on the flyer above… am I considered a guest? That’s all I need to know. Oh… wait, and I also need to know who can bring their truck to help me back to my house with my loot? ha ha ha!
But really, in between sipping some sudsies… and giving me a West Elm discount… are they really expecting me to work too? All of my 2015 brides who are local… can you come and man my table while I shop? No really… can you guys come? I’d love to see you!!! And bring all of your friends who just got engaged over the holidays!! xo.
